Good Morning Hookers! Boy it is August already....where did the summer go it is almost over? I hope everyone is working on items for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Membership for our team re-opens today and we will see a lot of new members. Have a great day everyone.

Working on business related tax stuff online today and getting very frustrated. Thought I had everything figured out and then went back to check to see I had done everything correctly and now the state site won't let me log back in. Ugh...Guess I will be checking on it another day when the site works correctly.

Hope everyone is having a less frustrating time than me, lol.

Just printed out what I need to work on another letter pattern. I have a tester waiting patiently for it.

Hey, Everyone long time no chat. I have been busy with many things during the summer. My son is home and he does not allow me much space to work and chat. I have been reading about everyone. I still have a few weeks of July to catch up on. My daughter and I started a new shop of soap and face scrubbies. Here is the link to check it out. http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=7711413

I do need some advice. My flowers are doing well but I was thinking of expanding. I had the idea to add some listings in my shop for people to make their own necklaces, pins or magnets with my flowers. I would make them but they could choose any flowers in my shop to use. What do you think??? The holidays are coming and I was thinking of gifts.

Thanks Val! Wow that sounds exhausting just reading about all that work. My father was a general contractor for years and it is not easy work at all. He used to take us with as kids to be clean up crew. But I know how to caulk, drywall, paint and do basic repairs if need be. My husband is not very handy so it helps.

Hi, all,
Enjoyed reading about your ventures.....new shops, new patterns to be sold, gardening, sales (hope they all start coming for everyone soon), giveaways for anniversaries. Been really overwhelmed working for my Mom, plus crocheting, plus yard work that should have been done in the spring, and this week will start taking care of our son's children on the days I don't go to Indianapolis. Sorry to have not even been here last week (I think). Will check back again soon. Hope you have had a good weekend.

I WOULD DIE if I had to do all that work myself. Just die. I give you a lot of credit for saving that great old house and for living with a 6 year remodel and 4 more years of the same to look forward to. My husband wants to hire someone to do everything - I'm the one who usually won't hire if we can do it ourselves. This time, he said "hire Sotaro" and I said, "Good idea, honey." Now we'll keep it up ourselves.

I'm still waiting for the replacement yarn for Lion so that I can get started on the twin's afghans..........again. Now my cousin's wife ( Bridezilla ) is preggers, so that means another afghan to give away.

Good Morning Hookers!

Well today is a day I have been waiting for and dreading for a long time. Ok so today is my Birthday and I am 65 today. Dreading because that means now I am offically old LOL! Looking forward to having Medicare instead of paying $680. a month for my insurance premiums.

My card group decided it would be perfect to celebrate my birthday by making today our card playing day. The festivities will start at 9 am with breakfast and then the Hand and Foot card game begins. I will probably not be home untill late evening as we usually have lunch, snacks and dinner while breaking from the card game. I am ready to celebrate and I hope all you Hookers will celebrate with me!
