Creative Challenge No. 6 GUIDELINES and Discussion

Here it is Hookers, our next challenge is now open! Thank you to Candace (spiffyspooner), the winner of our 5th Challenge, for choosing this theme!

A Walk on the Wild Side - Create an item that is for or about animals. It can be something specifically for an animal to use (collars, coats, blankets, etc.) or something that has an animal image on it (a potholder with a dog face on it for example) or an animal print (leopard print purse for example). Any actual four footed animal can be represented (dogs, cats, lions, zebras, cows, deer - you get the idea ;) but must be a part of the crocheted piece (for example do not make a scarf and use jungle animal buttons to embellish). NO made up four footed creatures please (like an amigurmi monster for example).


Here’s the rules and guidelines: PLEASE make sure to read and comply with them all!
1. You must be a current Etsy Hooker member.
2. You must create a crocheted item that relates to a four footed animal. No pdf patterns will be accepted.
3. You must list the actual item in your shop, either for sale or as a PIF (pay it forward) if you wish. The listed on date must be May 11th or later.
4. Include this in your description:
This item was created for the EtsyHookers Creative Challenge No. 6. View and vote on your favorite entry beginning June 8th. Everyone is invited to vote! http://etsyhookers.blogspot.com.
5. Tag the item in your shop with this Challenge tag: etsyhookersCC6 (and our team tag too (etsyhookers team)). Items not tagged will not be considered!
6. One entry per member
7. The deadline to enter is Sunday, June 7th at 12:00 am (midnight) EST
8. The voting poll will open by 12 pm (noon) EST on June 8th, and will close on June 15th at 12 pm (noon) EST. I will post a link to the poll in the forums here once it’s open.

okay , you all know I have to make a pdf out of everything...LOL...so can I make the pdf and sell and put the actual item in also?

Sandy, you must list the actual item as your entry, not a pdf. If you also want to sell the pattern, that's fine too, you just can't use it as your entry.

I make animal Hats would they be eligable, they are already listed, and I would love to use something I already have, Im just not sure if it has to be something new, or if it can be something already listed and made? Thanks,Beth

As long as your hat represents a four legged animal, and you relist it so the listing date is today (May 11) or later then it would be eligible. Please make sure you follow ALL the guidelines too (tagging, and adding the extra info to your description). Of course if you wanted to make something new, which is is the idea behind the challenges, that would be fine too :)
