Good Morning Hookers, Here we are....September already. We are all wondering where the summer has gone. Soon we will be into the Holiday Season mode. We are having a bit of a cold spell here in NC...but it won't last long and we will be back in the 90's again. Hope everyone has a great day!

It IS cold this morning in central NY! I have this urge to light the wood stove....brrr.....

This little cold snap has me thinking about how it is going to be springtime soon on the other side of my world. So I started making springy/summery goodies to warm me up. I'm also thinking about school starting next week and how I'm going to miss my little rugrats. We had a really nice summer even though we had little money to play with. We opened an Etsy store, learned how to sew, built a fort, taught a couple kids how to spin, planted some different gardens, etc. Not bad overall!

The problem of not get notified of emails is finally solved:
The other day I had to call Discover Card and while I was on the phone with the woman I told her I had not been getting my email notifications of when my bill was due and when my payment was received. I had been getting them all along for years until about 3 months ago. She told me that for some reason carolina.rr. which is Time Warner Cable had started considering Discover Card emails as Spam and they won't let them go through...she suggested I change to my yahoo email...which I did and now those emails are flowing like before.

Well yesterday I was looking through ning to see what threads had been posted to and the "light bulb" went on in my head...maybe Time Warner...carolina.rr has a problem with ning too. Well I changed my email on ning to my yahoo and it looks like I am getting email notifications now of all the threads that I follow.

Don't I feel like a dummy.....blaming ning for this problem. Thanks to Discover Card for solving my ning problem. Guess I will have to go apologize to the nice man who was trying to correct the problem.

I agree. Now I have to figure out why Time Warner thinks they have the right to decide what emails I get are spam. I have to call them to discuss this with them. Using Yahoo is more cumbersome for me as you cannot forward it to Outlook Express but at least I am getting notified. Thanks for your help with this Julie.

Have you tried Gmail? I use it and love, love, love, it! It has a lot of great features and with gmail you can forward your emails to Outlook Express.

Glad you got it figured out.
I had a problem with messages to some AOL customers bouncing a while back. I thought it was the link in my signature, figured AOL had very strict spam filters.
I didn't know how strict: anything with the word geocities will NOT get through to AOL, and at the time, my site was at geocities.
Like you said, how can they decide something like this? Geez, how many fake paypal notices do I get? Does AOL then figure anything from paypal is junk?
