OK, I need to ask you something and it's not crochet related, but animal related (I know, I can't help myself) but did you know that the GEORGIA PUPPY CARAVAN is coming to Georgia on 8/19 - 8/23/09? I didn't either till I got this e-mail from a friend in California.

Apparently The M.O.M.S. Rescue is planning a major rescue effort of saving sheltered dogs AND CATS from Georgia animal shelters in order to spare them a horrible demise.

Although it is coming to Georgia, anyone can help and participate, just read this website and that will explain it:

Hello, I'm so sorry for not checking in here more...I will honestry try harder. It's been so darn hot that I'm turning into a hermit ;-) well, at least I'm getting some crocheting done.

Have a Super Memorial Day Weekend as we take time to remember those who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom.
I am having a very relaxed, laid back weekend... just going to plant a few flowers in my front beds and then crochet and paper quill the weekend away.

I think I joined the exchange group, but never really went through all the messages. Guess I should do that. LOL

Anyways, I will be on and off all weekend long since I have a TON of neglected yard work and gardening to do. So I just wanted to make sure I was able to wish everyone a Wonderful Happy Mother's Day! I wish you all lots of fun and special times with your loved ones this weekend.

I have alot of new "boucle" type yarns that I purchased and I just don't like the way they crochet. It's probably just me, but I will see what I have and post it in the group if anyone wants to trade for something else.

Would anyone be interested in doing a crocheted Christmas Ornament Swap with me? I only use hand made ornaments on my tree each year and would love to have some from other places on it. Just let me know how many are interested. Maybe we can get something started.
