I have some real fuzzy looking specialty yarn in the palest blue and I think I will try to make a similar scarf and the beads are a nice touch.
I really enjoy that green color of that fruit bolw and the apples look perfect in there :-)

- What is your favourite thing about crocheting?
- It's easy and you don't need much for it. All you need is a small hook and a bit of yarn, you can do it anywhere. The possibilities are endless. I used to knit, but hardly ever reach for my long clumsy needles anymore since I (re)discovered crochet.
But also very important: it's very suitable for reused yarn. I reuse yarn because it's cheap and eco-friendly. In most cases there's no need to wash out the creases when you use it for crochet.

Been Busy
So I've been a member of the group for over a month now, but just when I joined I was busy preparing for a craft show and didn't have time to look around much here. Making up for that now!

- Thanks, I will remember that...been kind of preoccupied blogging, but I will cut that way down as it is too time consuming and cuts into my crochet time and time with my dog ;-)

I'm sorry I've not been around more...been blogging and trying to stay away as much as I can from the computer. One can really get sucked into cyberspace and then find themselves at the end of the day having done nothing at all...

- No, actually, I enjoy receiving comments. I usually try not to spend too much time on the computer. There are a lot of nice people here to talk with, but I got carried away in the beginning and didn't get any crocheting done. I heard through the grapevines to keep making stuff for when the busy season starts, like in fall and Christmas. I also got a couple of orders from some friends and neighbors and if all goes well, I'll be able to exhibit my crochet and knitting at the Honey Bee Festival October 3rd and 4th. I also am thinking about a pre-Christmas Bazaar at the clubhouse where I live...I seem to have better luck showing my stuff in person than on Etsy, but I will try to be patient and not get discouraged.
