Yes you can, just as you described making a ball. When I do a hat, I do rounds of 6 increases (start with 6sc in your ch2 start, next rd has 12sc, next has 18sc etc til you get the circumference you want then sc evenly around, no more increases - ti…

Thanks for the compliment on my shop and Rocket Ship Rug. I had a Pencil Rug earlier that I sold before Xmas. They were fun to make, but took awhile because you use a double strand of yarn throughout and it gets bulky to work with :)
Your little chic smoochies are really cute. I made something similar - my Chris & Misty Roly-Polys and promoted them as Xmas Tree ornaments, or a little yarn ball, but couldn't get anyone interested in them. Looks like yours are selling well. Sometimes I think it's just coming up with the right 'catchy' name, don't you think?
