Hi, thanks for the kind words about the Freeform hat pattern, it really wasn't that hard to write the pattern, it took me a while only because of all the interruptions I have around the house, ie, hubby, dogs, cats, parrots and somewhat needy neighbors. I also had to wait for the testers to do the hat; I had two advance beginners, one very advanced crocheter and one beginner crocheter do the hats from the pattern first. The hat is actually quite easy and ok for an advance beginner, although the beginner crocheter was able to do it with some direction, what makes it look hard is the numerous yarns used, colors and textures, the stitches are quite basic.

Thanks again.
