Maggie Weldon has a pattern that might be helpful: http://www.maggiescrochet.com/maggies-crochet-flower-shop-patterns-p-286.html. I like to felt my stems.

Smaller yarn? You can get more spirals tighter, or same number smaller, I would think.

This is a great cause and a good way to use up yarn. I urge everyone to go and check the website. There you can find instructions on how the rectangles should be made and the colors they need.

What is your favourite thing about crocheting?
It is so relaxing for this senior retired NICU nurse. I am also a grandma of two. One of my grandsons is in the US Army. The other is in high school. I am also the proud mom of two Whippets.

One idea you might think about for your shop is trying to take all of your photos with the same background. I bought a piece of foamboard at the craft store and put down a couple pieces of white scrapbook paper to take most of my photos. You don't have to use white; I have also used green and blue.

I know taking photos can take forever. It sometimes drives me crazy, but I have noticed as my photos got better I got more sales.
