I got my back pay owed from a Union contract that was passed late. That's like an extra $200. So I bought myself an new camera (which I desperately needed) and took a new jewelry making hobby. I have a lot of fun with it and it's nice because it doesn't take a really long time to finish.

So I finally got my first sale! It was super exciting (there was celebrating involved) and I can't wait for more sales.

I've had a few trades with a couple of individuals. I got some great products for some of the stuff in my shop and some custom orders. I really like the idea of trading, so if anyone is interested, let me know. I'm looking to see if anyone has a bag of various buttons they would be willing to trade for something.

I'm beginning to become frustrated with the whole Etsty process. I have not sold ONE single item yet and I've been a member since September. I've done just about everything I can think of, I've joined a few groups, I've kept my prices reasonable, I blog, I have a Flickr, I post in the forums, I chat. Some advice, please?

Alas, I've found a new love. Washcloths are so much fun to make! I've probably made three since yesterday and I think I'm going to sell wash cloth gift baskets on Etsy! Please let me know what you think of that idea as I'm not entirely positive that I want to do it.
