Hey everybody! I just looked at the entries for the challenge and every piece is simply magnificent. I don't know what I am going to make yet... but I see the competition is FIERCE!!! Good job to everyone that has already finished their entries.

What is your favourite thing about crocheting?
Versatile and fast. I have tried to knit, and I love the way it looks, but I like the speed at which I can crochet. Instant gratification...plus, in all the 20+ years I have been crocheting I found that I can do with my hook all the things knitters can do with their needles. I just opened my etsy store and I was looking for like minded artesians...this is the spot...

Is it bad?

Is it bad to steal ideas? I see so many wonderful things and I think to myself, I can make something like that. But then I hesitate...is it okay to steal your ideas and make them my own, and then post them on MY etsy shop?

Hi Ginger. I use an acrylic yarn with the fun fur yarn. It makes it easier to crochet. :) I can't crochet that fun fur by its self either. I get too frustrated. LOL

Thanks for the welcome, Ginger! I started to do a bit of knitting a year ago-- o it was so hard, but I used it to make something I couldn't in crochet--- a leaf hat band--- then I crocheted the rest of the hat! LOL!
