I wanted to check out the Nimble Fingers Contest. I just missed it. I had to check in with the kids. I was busy trying to recover a shoe that one of them had lost on a ride. First Place, Third place and then Second place...I'd say you did really good at the fair this year! If I have time maybe I'll come by for the next contest. I live nearby in Encinitas. Maybe I will submit something next year. We will definitely be submitting some photography. Check out some of our local photos... here

Thanks for the compliment on my flower purse. I, however, did go on Etsy to sell, but I'm not having any luck. I'm having more luck getting orders from my neighborhood. People around here just love to look and touch what they're getting. There is this Honey Bee Festival coming up on the first weekend in October and I really, really want to go. It's for 2 days. The space for both days is $50 but I need to find someone who can lend me a canope and a portable table or two. I'm asking around and so far I have two possible prospects. I have a feeling that I will be selling stuff there. So far I have several orders that I need to finish by July 3rd because that's when everybody gets paid. I hope they won't change their mind.
I posted a doggy sweater to my shop today and used my neighbor's dog as a model. I think it looks cute:
