What is your favourite thing about crocheting?: Crocheting is not only relaxing and a very portable project, the end results are extremely varied and beautiful. I am hooked on felting and most of my pottery is crocheted and then felted, although I will occasionally knit the piece first.

Ok - so I have decided that my shop just looks like it is all over the place. I really want to have a distinct style, look and feel. I am going to return to basics - focusing on shape, texture and colors - including pottery, booties, balls and accessories. The first weekend of the new year

Today is the first weekend of the new year and I am not following my new years resolutions already.

I went one day since 12/26 without excersising though, so that is good.. I still have all day to fit it in today. I hope to loose about 30-40 lbs by summer. (boy, I seem to pack in on quickly, but coming off is a way different story)

But here I sit at the computer with all my etsy hooker friends. I need to limit the computer time and really stick to it.

Wow - never thought I would be a hooker and like it!

But, I guess it runs in the family - my daughter was on a rugby team in college and her position was called a hooker.. so we are one!
